Normally these dahlias are red with yellow streaks. This particular bloom couldn't decide whether to be yellow or red, so it is half and half.

Like so many other photographers, Oscar Gutierrez's passion for photography began as a hobby, which he has enjoyed since he was in his teens. More recently he was encouraged by his wife to take his longtime love of nature and travel photography to the next level.
